Joseph de Leon is an award-winning independent strategy and marketing consultant. Known for unlocking creativity to build brands and businesses, he has partnered with global powerhouses, emerging regional stars and local heroes. Clients have included Mondelez OREO, Nivea, Nautilus Fitness, Celcom Axiata, CIMB Bank, TM (Telekom Malaysia), Goldilocks Philippines and Amici among others.
Most recently, he played key strategic roles for FCB; as Strategic Planning Director of FCB Kuala Lumpur and Regional Strategy Consultant in ASEAN & China. Prior to the ad agency, Joseph was directly engaged for Six Sigma and marketing projects with international clients such as Cox Communications, and non-profits such as the Atlanta Children's Shelter and CHRIS Kids. Even while in business school, he was already doing corporate strategic planning and project management for the business services conglomerate, JH Harland. He began his career in new product development and brand management with San Miguel Corporation.
Joseph is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and holds an MBA from Emory University's Goizueta Business School. He earned his BS in Legal Management from Ateneo de Manila University and also pursued further studies in Finance at the University of the Philippines.
Outside of work, he is a volunteer strategic advisor for Pathways Philippines and founder of Fostering Focus, a photography training program for Metro Atlanta's at-risk youth.
